WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF USING RIDDLE OIL VERSES ALCOHOL BASED FRAGRANCES?
Longer lasting scent – The oil is able to penetrate your skin and mix with your chemistry. This creates a longer lasting scent than alcohol based scents.
Long shelf life – Due to the nature of oil, you don't have to worry about your fragrance evaporating quickly like alcohol based scents.
Hypoallergenic – Riddle is safe for people who are sensitive and typically have allergic responses to perfume.
Subtle and non-invasive scent – Not everyone has the same preference to scents. Riddle Oils are considered calm, trace-scents that allows those who appreciate it to come in close and not be overwhelmed by pungent aromas.
Moisturizing – Because Riddle is made of the highest quality natural oils, it provides natural moisture. Like baby oil, Riddle will penetrate your pores with pure compounds that soothe dry skin.
Fewer ingredients – Riddle contains no fillers. Therefore, the only ingredients present are pure and contain no chemicals.
Daily Inspiration – The most talked about quality of Riddle is it’s empowering effect. Wearing Riddle allows you to feel noticed and appreciated.

HOW SHOULD I APPLY RIDDLE?
It is best to apply after your shower and moisturizer (unscented) so that the oil has a clean and moisturized surface to absorb into.
Apply to your pulse points; behind your ears, along your clavicle, inside of the arms, wrists and back of the knees. *Avoid rubbing your wrists together. Rather, dab and allow it to absorb so that you avoid “crushing” the scent.

FASCINATING INFORMATION ABOUT OUR SENSE OF SMELL AND EMOTION.
Our sense of smell is the most primitive and sophisticated sense. It is also the most sensitive sense. The human brain can process around 10,000 smells in an area the size of a quarter. The moment you inhale a scent, smell molecules are absorbed by the olfactory neurons and carried to the olfactory bulb by the olfactory nerve. The smell molecules reach the limbic system, the most primitive part of the brain which is connected to the central nervous system. This system deals with instinctive or automatic behaviors. These behaviors take precedence over conscious thought and will. The limbic system also translates sensory information from the neo-cortex (thinking brain) into motivational forces for behavior.

For instance, if you smelled a crayon it would most likely remind you of your childhood. Depending on what perception you have surrounding your childhood, certain emotions would come up for you and then depending on that emotion you would respond accordingly.

What does this have to do with Riddle? Good question.

Riddle has been formulated using essential oils and flower essences whose molecules possess consistent positive emotion that provide motivation for inspiration and confidence. Because everyone has different perceptions of smell, we looked to the animal kingdom to find the scents that naturally occur to empower and play the role of matchmaker. These smell molecules are primitive and stored in our memories as non-threatening and calming. The molecules we chose for Riddle Oil Original (which is the base of all the Riddle Oil scents) are comprised of only base notes which are simply heavy molecules. The heavier the molecules the longer it takes to evaporate. Therefore, the feeling of well-being and attraction are sustained.

Although, it is important to remember that our sense of smell becomes bored easily. So the fragrance can sometimes be ignored by the receptors. Do not worry. Your smell cells are renewed every 28 days. So it will come back to you and the compliments from others will serve to remind you it is there.
