This website is operated by Riddle Inc., a Wyoming corporation (“Riddle,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Riddle Inc. offers this website, including all information, tools, and services available from this site, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.

By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service (“Terms”), including any additional terms and policies referenced herein or available by hyperlink. These Terms apply to all users of the site, including browsers, customers, vendors, merchants, and contributors of content.

Please read these Terms carefully before accessing or using our website. If you do not agree to all Terms, you may not access the website or use the Service. Continued use of the site following the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services.

SECTION 1 – ONLINE STORE TERMS

By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you have given consent for any minor dependents to use this site.

You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose or violate any applicable laws (including copyright laws). Transmission of viruses or destructive code is prohibited. Any breach of these Terms may result in immediate termination of Services.

SECTION 2 – GENERAL CONDITIONS

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. Content (excluding payment information) may be transferred unencrypted across networks. Payment information is always encrypted during transmission.

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Service without express written permission from us.

SECTION 3 – ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS & TIMELINESS

Information on this site is provided for general informational purposes only and may not be current or complete. Reliance on site content is at your own risk. We reserve the right to modify site content at any time without obligation to update.

SECTION 4 – MODIFICATIONS TO SERVICE & PRICES

Prices and product availability are subject to change without notice. We may modify or discontinue the Service at any time without liability to you or any third party.

SECTION 5 – PRODUCTS & PRODUCT USE

Certain products are available exclusively online and in limited quantities. All purchases are subject to our Returns & Refunds Policy, incorporated by reference.

We strive to display product colors and images accurately but cannot guarantee monitor accuracy.

Product Use & Safety

Products are for external use only. Patch test prior to use. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Keep away from heat, sparks, and open flame. Keep out of reach of children. Individual results and scent perception vary based on personal chemistry and sensitivity.

No Medical Claims

Product descriptions and content are for informational purposes only and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

SECTION 6 – BILLING & ACCOUNT INFORMATION

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders, limit quantities, or restrict purchases by account, household, credit card, or address.

We may prohibit orders that appear to be placed by dealers, resellers, or distributors outside of authorized wholesale/B2B accounts.

You agree to provide accurate and current billing and account information.

SECTION 7 – OPTIONAL TOOLS

Third-party tools are provided “as is” and “as available.” We assume no liability for your use of third-party tools or services.

SECTION 8 – LOYALTY & REWARDS PROGRAM

From time to time, Riddle Inc. may offer a loyalty or rewards program, including The Smell Good Club (“Program”). Participation is optional and subject to these Terms and any additional rules posted on our website.

Points or rewards are promotional, have no cash value, are not legal tender, are non-transferable, and are not redeemable outside the Program.

We may modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time, including earn rates, redemption values, rewards, or expiration rules. Points may expire or be forfeited due to inactivity, account termination, or program changes.

We reserve the right to revoke points or terminate participation for fraud, abuse, or misuse.

Login Required at Checkout - Customer’s need to be logged into the same account they used to redeem their code in order for it to apply at checkout.

Redeemed codes from points have a 3-month expiration - All redeemed discount codes will expire after 3 months of non-usage.

SECTION 9 – THIRD-PARTY LINKS

We are not responsible for third-party content, websites, or transactions. Review third-party policies before engaging.

SECTION 10 – USER COMMENTS, REVIEWS, FEEDBACK & SUBMISSIONS

If, at our request, you submit certain specific content (for example, contest entries), or if you submit content without a request from us, including but not limited to product reviews, brand reviews, testimonials, comments, feedback, suggestions, photos, images, videos, or other materials (collectively, “Submissions”), whether online, by email, by social media, by postal mail, or otherwise, you agree that Riddle Inc. may, at any time and without restriction:

use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, display, and create derivative works from such Submissions;
use Submissions for marketing, advertising, promotional, and commercial purposes; and
use Submissions without compensation, attribution, or additional permission from you.

You grant Riddle Inc. a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use your Submissions in any medium now known or later developed.

This includes, without limitation, images, photographs, or other media submitted as part of a product or brand review, which may be used on our website, in email marketing, on social media, in advertisements, or in other promotional materials.

We are under no obligation to:

maintain any Submission in confidence;
pay compensation for any Submission; or
respond to any Submission.

We may, but have no obligation to, monitor, edit, or remove Submissions that we determine in our sole discretion are unlawful, offensive, defamatory, obscene, infringing, misleading, or otherwise objectionable or that violate these Terms.

You represent and warrant that:

you own or have the necessary rights to submit the content;
your Submissions do not violate any third-party rights, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights; and
your Submissions do not contain false, misleading, unlawful, or harmful material.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of your Submissions. Riddle Inc. assumes no liability for any content submitted by users or third parties.

SECTION 11 – PERSONAL INFORMATION

Your submission of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated by reference.

SECTION 12 – ERRORS & OMISSIONS

We reserve the right to correct errors or cancel orders due to inaccuracies at any time.

SECTION 13 – PROHIBITED USES

You may not use the Service for unlawful purposes, to infringe IP rights, transmit malware, scrape data, or interfere with site security.

SECTION 14 – DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES; LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

All products and services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Riddle Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

SECTION 15 – INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Riddle Inc. and its affiliates from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms.

SECTION 16 – SEVERABILITY

If any provision is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

SECTION 17 – TERMINATION

These Terms remain effective unless terminated by you or us. Obligations incurred prior to termination survive.

SECTION 18 – ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Riddle Inc., superseding prior agreements.

SECTION 19 – GOVERNING LAW & VENUE

These Terms and any disputes arising from them shall be governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any legal action shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to jurisdiction and venue in those courts.

SECTION 20 – CHANGES TO TERMS

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time by posting changes to this page. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

Refund policy

Pheromone Oil Products

Please be aware that the scented oils in this category are base note only formulas. They work with your own body chemistry (hormones, diet, health, genetics, pheromones, etc.) to act as an accelerant to your natural scent; we call these pheromone oils. These oils are enhancers, and because you're often nose-blind to your own scent, you may not smell these on yourself. However, our number one review on these scents is how many compliments people receive when wearing them.

People who love these scents are usually sensitive to smells and love their subtle nature. They typically suffer from fragrance-related headaches and don't from these. They don't want to smell overpowering to people around them. They use these scents as enhancers with other fragrances they wear.

We ask that you consider all of this information when purchasing these oils, as we do not accept returns for not being able to smell your pheromone products.

Returns / Exchanges / Refunds

Due to the nature of our products, we do not allow returns. We also do not process refunds. Please consider this when purchasing Riddle Oil products. We strongly encourage all first-time customers to purchase the Sample Kit, which includes all seven signature scents. This kit comes with a $10 off code to apply towards your next full-size purchase.

We allow exchanges on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out to our customer service team to request an exchange. We never allow exchanges on the Sample Kit or Sample Kit + Gift Card products.

Damages

If your product has been damaged in shipping or has a manufacturing defect, email us within one week of the delivery date. Please include your name, order number, images, and a description of the damage.

Please note that we do not allow refunds for damaged products; you can choose for the product to be replaced or store credit issued. Again, we ask that if you commit to a product by placing an order, you are willing to work with us to correct any issues by getting you the correct product.

We will not be able to assist anyone who does not include images of their damage.

Order Adjustments

If you placed an order and soon after, items in your order go on sale, if your order was placed within 48 hours of our sale, you can reach out to us and request your order be price adjusted.

Holiday sales from 11/24-1/5 are not eligible for adjustments since this period will contain many different deals, days apart from each other.

If you purchased before a BOGO sale and your order has already been fulfilled, your order is not eligible for an adjustment.

Returned Shipments

If your order was returned to us due to an incorrect address given at checkout, you will be charged for the reshipment of the product. We will only reship the order one time from the initial order shipment.

International customers will also be charged for the reshipment of your order. If international customers do not want to pay for reshipment, there will be a 20% restocking fee of the total of the order; the remainder of the total will be refunded to the customer, less the initial shipping cost.
